If you have never had a mobile personal trainer before, here is a breif description of what you can expect from each session, and as an overall experience.

Firstly, you can expect to deal with someone who is absolutely commited to your goal. We hand pick our trainers, and we search long and hard to find knowledgable, friendly, professional and fun trainers who know how to help their clients reach their goals. You will be encouraged to have clear discussions with your trainer regarding your goals, what you have tried in the past, whats worked, what hasn’t, what you enjoy, what you don’t enjoy and also of any injury or illness that may effect your training. Its very important that your trainer understands not only your goal, but also what motivates and drives you.. In times of need when you are looking to your trainer for that extra push or motivation – they need to know what will push your buttons! (psst… we’re not mind readers, or physchologists – so try and help us out a bit with this one!)

You can also expect to have all exercises and demostrated and taught to you in a safe and clear manner. We WILL prescribe exercises that will get you to your goal, but we will NOT have you doing exercises that may make any past or present injuries worse – regardless of how much you may want to “tone up” that area. Sorry!

You can also expect to be given a username and password to Nutrition Complete, our online Nutritionist. Here you can plan your menu, review the recipes, compile your shopping list and monitor your calories, fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. When so much about how you look and feel comes down to what you eat, you simply cant afford to neglect this crucial piece of the picture.

You can expect to be given homework! Sorry! Depending on how much time you spend with your trainer indivudually, and in groups, will determine how much homework you will need to complete to acheive your goal. Each session will be different depneding on your individual goals, but you can generally expect a warm up at the start, with the main part of the session being either resistance or cardio based exercises (or perhaps a combination of both) where the trainers attention will be completely focussed on you. He or she will be watching to make sure you are working safely, efficiently, and hard enough! At the end you can expect a light cool down and some stretches all throughout your session that are specific to your physiology and daily movement patterns.
